Powder coating settles on the surface dry rather than liquid. Once it is settled, the coating is heated. At this point, the paint “flows out” of the coating and start to form a gel over the surface of the wheel.
This is how we do it?
1. Remove the wheels from the car
2. Clean the wheels with soap and special cleaning products
3. Sandblast to remove loose material
4. Manually sand the wheels to make them smooth
5. Heat the wheels to prepare the surface
6. Apply the powder coating
7. Reheat the wheels until powder starts to become like a gel
8. Apply lacquer and heat at slow temperature until the wheels are ready
9. After cooling down in room temperature the wheel is ready to be driven away
